I’m going to say this right now. The Lost and Found Shop is my favorite short film out of all the shorts I have ever seen. I was fortunate enough to stumble across this gem when I was at the Fastnet Short Film Festival in Ireland. Right after seeing it I knew that it would win something and sure enough it did.
The Lost and Found Shop follows a little girl looking for something she has lost. That is all I will say as I do not want to spoil the film. If you have eight and a half minutes to spare then please do yourself the favor and check this out.
Caleb Slain is the director of The Lost and Found Shop and is one to keep an eye on.
Only 22, Slain has already made a viral advertisement for the Microsoft Surface that was meant to only be a spot at tech shows.
Instead it went viral.
Check that out below.
The kid has talent. According to his website he is touring a new short film around to festivals and is currently penning his first feature film.
Know of any other great short films? Send them my way and I’ll have a look at them!
